HOW DO I REGISTER?
Please visit the "JOIN" area, fill in the registration form and send. After your registration, your access details will be sent to your email address. You will be able to enter your personalized "MEMBERS' AREA", download the terms and conditions and other important documents. You can alternatively call us and make a personal appointment.

WHY DO I HAVE TO REGISTER?
After your registration, you will receive the terms and conditions for the yacht ownership programme, the contract, and you will be able to make an appointment with one of Pristine Cruise's representatives. After you have received your contract, you will have 40 days to send the signed contract back to Pristine Cruise (PTY) Ltd. and inform us in the members' area about your decision. There are only 8 share portions of 10% each available and therefore we will only be able to accommodate the first 8 signed contracts.

WHAT WILL I FIND IN THE MEMBERS' AREA?
As a fractional yacht owner, you will find all yacht relevant and legal documents, such as: your contract, the terms, etc. The members' area offers an online booking and reservation system, a personal gallery, dates and administrative information.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - INVESTMENT & FEES

WHEN DO I HAVE TO PAY THE INITIAL INVESTMENT?
Upon signing the service agreement and association agreement you will be required to provide a bank guarantee for the total of R390 000. Once all 8 members have signed, each shareholder will be required to pay a deposit of 50% (R195 000) into the corporations account. The remaining 50% is payable 7 days before the launch day of the yacht in Cape town.

WILL I BE REQUIRED TO PAY VAT?
As a member of a CC you will be required to pay 14% VAT (R54 600), which will be reimbursed to you within 7 days of the CC receiving VAT refund.

HOW DO I KNOW MY INITIAL INVESTMENT IS SECURE?
A separate company will be registered in which you will own 10% shares. Your initial investment will be deposited into the bank account of this specific company, of which each shareholder has signing rights. It will not be possible for funds to be transferred without the consent of each shareholder. The yacht will be purchased and paid for in this company's name, using the deposited funds of each shareholder. The yacht will remain the property of this company in which you will have share ownership.

HOW MUCH IS THE MANAGEMENT FEE AND WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?
The management fee is R6 800/month and payable on monthly basis. It includes all services connected with your yacht and your stay on your yacht, such as:

• INSURANCE
• YACHT MAINTENANCE
• GENERAL MANAGEMENT
• YACHT DELIVERY SERVICE
• TRANSFER FROM & TO THE AIRPORT
• BREAKFAST AND ALL OTHER SERVICES (see "SERVICE" in "THE YACHT " area)

WHAT DOES THE GENERAL MANAGEMENT INCLUDE?
Pristine Cruise guarantees that your yacht is always in top condition and ready to sail. The crew is responsible for cleaning of the entire yacht, fresh linen and a fully stocked bar / restaurant. The professional crew usually sails your yacht, should you not wish to sail it yourself.

WHAT OTHER COSTS ARE INVOLVED IN THE PROGRAMME?
You will have to pay your own flights, meals and drinks on board. Breakfast is included. Should you want to board your yacht or stay in another destination than Vilanculos, you will have to cover the costs of yacht mooring and all relevant costs connected with your stay in the other location. No other costs are involved!

CAN MY COMPANY PURCHASE SHARES?
Yes. The monthly management fee may qualify as business expense deductions. Please contact your tax adviser regarding your specific requirements.

CAN I SELL MY YACHT SHARES?
Yes, you can, provided that you sell the shares with the Pristine Cruise management contract for the remaining contract period.

WHEN WILL I BE ABLE TO SEE THE CONTRACT?
After your registration in the "JOIN" area. You will receive the terms and conditions for the partial yacht ownership programme and the management contract. After you have received your contract, you will have 40 days to send the signed contract back to Pristine Cruise (PTY) Ltd. and inform us in the members' area about your decision. Please note that there are only 8 share portions of 10% each available and therefore we will only be able to accommodate the first 8 signed contracts.

HOW LONG IS THE PERIOD OF THE CONTRACT?
The legal contract between you and Pristine Cruise is 5 years and can be renewed for the following 5 years.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER 5 YEARS WITH THE CONTRACT ?
A shareholders meeting will be held, whereby a vote will determine whether the yacht will be sold, be used for charter or whether the contract will remain the same for the following 5 years.

HOW LONG CAN I STAY ON MY YACHT?
You can stay 35 days per year on your yacht or send friends, family, business partners... on board.

CAN I TRANSFER MY REMAINING DAYS INTO THE NEXT YEAR?
No, but you can send whoever you want for the 35 days: friends, family, business partner, customers..

WHEN WILL I BE ABLE TO SEE THE YACHT
You can either inspect your yacht in Cape Town while being manufactured. Alternatively you can inspect your yacht in Cape Town on launch day. Two shareholder meetings will be held in Vilanculos after arrival of the yacht where you will be invited to spend a weekend in a lodge and enjoy sailing on your yacht.

CAN I SAIL THE YACHT ON MY OWN?
Yes, you can, provided that you have endorsed coastal or ocean skipper's licence.

HOW MANY PERSONS DOES THE YACHT ACCOMODATE?
The yacht can accommodate up to 8 persons in 4 double cabins but you can bring up to 20 people with for day sails.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE INSURANCE?
Your yacht and the guests are always fully covered. The coverage is as follows:

• R 3 000 000 accidental cover
• R 3 000 000 natural disaster
• R 1 000 000 third party
• R 1 000 000 passenger liability
